Ability and opportunity is all that should matter

We banish this bird from its home and what do we offer instead, concrete and trash! It is not enough to label it as a national bird if we can't treat it with a little more dignity. Similarly we can't label people as belonging to different communities and treat them as lesser abled and in need of concessions.
