Parenting and childhood beliefs

There are green pigeons roosting all around. Some waiting for those eggs to hatch others guiding their fledglings through various motions of grooming and flying. Their patience is a lesson in parenting. I was walking Bingo early morning and there I receive a blessing from heaven... fresh deposits on my right shoulder. Immediately am reminded of a childhood belief that it was a good omen. And so it proved to be as I looked up to this beautiful photo opportunity. I observed them for nearly and hour in the morning and again on return from work.
